On the Edulo website we use two kinds of cookies and browser data:
- Essential – without them the website would not work as you request (remembering your language, the cart, the order summary, your cookie choice). Section 109(8) of Slovak Act No. 452/2021 Coll. on electronic communications allows such storage without consent.
- Ad measurement (Meta pixel) – only if you agree in the bar at the bottom of the page. Without your consent the pixel is not loaded at all and nothing is sent.
You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie settings link in the website footer.

This data stays in your browser. It is not sent to us or anyone else.
Ad measurement: Meta pixel
We run ads on Facebook and Instagram through Meta. The pixel is a small piece of code that tells Meta what you did on our website: which activity you viewed, whether you added it to the cart, started the payment and paid (order number, activities and amount), or whether you asked for a free activity to be emailed to you. We never send Meta your email address or other contact details. Meta also receives the page address, information about your browser and device, your IP address and its own cookies. This tells us which ads really helped teachers, and lets Meta show our ads to people interested in the activities.

We are jointly responsible with Meta Platforms Ireland Limited (Merrion Road, Dublin 4, D04 X2K5, Ireland) for collecting the data with the pixel and sending it to Meta. Meta then processes it as a separate controller under its privacy policy and may also transfer it to the USA. When you withdraw your consent, we delete the _fbp and _fbc cookies from our website and the pixel is no longer loaded.
Payment gateway
You pay on the page of the Stripe payment gateway (checkout.stripe.com). Stripe uses its own cookies there, mainly for payment security and fraud prevention, under its cookie policy. Stripe stores no cookies on the Edulo website.
Links to other websites
The link to our Facebook page is an ordinary link and sends nothing by itself.
How to delete the data
You can delete cookies and stored data at any time in your browser settings. The website will still work; you will just choose your language again, the cart will be empty and the bar will ask for your cookie consent again.
