About the activity
Tomi guides the children along the road. In the menu they choose one of five games: Where do we see this sign?, Meet the traffic lights!, Let us direct the traffic!, Find the missing half! and Shine the torch – who can you see?
Children learn the traffic lights for cars and for people walking, match road signs to the places where we see them, put signs together from two halves and use a torch to find who can be seen in the dark thanks to reflectors. After each game they get praise and can go on to the next one.

How to use it in class
- Before the game, take the children for a walk around the nursery and look out for road signs and the pedestrian crossing.
- After Shine the torch, darken the classroom and shine a torch on a high-visibility vest.
- Play traffic lights: on red the children stand still, on green they walk.
